QPS certification for the EASZ-02 water in fuel monitoring transmitter

EESIFLO has now received QPS certification for the EASZ-02 water in fuel monitoring transmitter . QPS is accredited in Canada, the USA and Internationally 
The units are currently  certified as follows

  • Class I Division 1 Gr CD T4 or
  • Class I Division 1 Gr CD T4 associated apparatus provides intrinsically safe circuits [Exib]
  • Class I Zone 1, AEx db ia IIB T4 Gb or AEx db ia [ib Gb] IIB T4 Gb
  • Ex db ia IIB T4 Gb or Ex db ia [ib Gb] IIB T4 Gb

The EASZ-2 accurately detects and measures small and large amounts of moisture/water contamination in an fuel, oil and petroleum based product. 

   

Pipeline operators in North America and Canada benefit from the dual certification. The EASZ-2 can be installed as an Exd or intrinsically safe unit.

Typical applications in the oil industry are detecting the contamination levels of oil or fuel coming into a refinery. Further upstream (well heads) it is possible to measure the BS&W to optimise the extraction process and recycle the excess water for re-injection.
