The EASZ-1X moisture in fuel detector is a state of the art, highly accurate online instrument with direct temperature measurement that indicates the actual amount of H2O in fuel instantaneously. The advantages over it’s predecessor the “EASZ-1” are increased stability in lower ranges in changing temperature environments.

In many instances, fuel is not normally supposed to contain any amount of moisture and quality checks/ manual sampling are not sufficient to determine contamination levels at all times.  The EASZ-1X was designed to continually provide the user with the actual state of the fuel in real time.  Armed with immediate real-time sensor data on the moisture contamination in a flow fuel stream it is possible to correct process anomalies before they become problematic.

Fuel suppliers and fuel consumers can be confident that the quality of their fuel is being monitored accurately and repeatedly on a consistent basis using EESIFLO’s state of the art EASZ-1X. Water contamination in fuel can cause numerous problems such as loss of revenue, corrosion, accelerated equipment breakdowns, microbiological growth and loss of power.  In a buyer/seller situation, the EASZ-1X ensures that the end client is getting what he paid for while ensuring the supplier is actually keeping to the specification.

DIELECTRIC CONSTANT FUEL MONITORING

The EASZ-1X is an intrinsically safe device that determines the permittivity of a fuel. Clean fuels exhibit a relationship between the temperature compensated dieletric constant and moisture/water contamination due to a large disparity in values between water and fuel.

“OFF THE SHELF” AND CUSTOM DESIGNED FUEL MONITORS

The EASZ-1X is currently being manufactured and supplied for standard “off the shelf” applications but is not limited by standard design. In certain non-typical environments where extreme temperature variations cause a drift in readings it is advisable to consider custom designed units.

Using our own environmental chamber it is possible to test and profile accuracy and repeatability in a temperature range of +100°C to -40°C. These tests can be performed on our own products and also that of competitors to assess the actual performance vs published specifications.
